If you need wheelchair assistance you will need to inform us at the time of booking, because all airlines will require you to pre-book wheelchair assistance, failure to do this could result in refusal to travel.
Most airlines offer free wheelchair carriage, and the weight will not be counted towards your standard baggage allowance.
Your wheelchair will be checked in with the rest of your luggage and transported in the hold, so we strongly advise you to purchase adequate travel insurance to cover for potential loss or damage.
Certain airlines however, are only able to carry a certain number of wheelchair per flight, which is why it is essential that we inform them at the time of booking, if you intend to travel with one. There might also be restrictions in relation to the weight of the wheelchair, so please inform us as to the type of wheelchair you have.
