Your lift pass also gives you access to Chepelare ski resort, just 10 kms from Pamporovo. This is an impossibly beautiful little resort with just under 3 kms of skiing served by a four skier and a two skier chairlfts. We do recommend to Chepelare while you're on your skiing holiday to Pamporovo.
After a great day's skiing

bars and clubs. For those wanting to sample a bit of true Bulgarian life, head to one of the many
local folk restaurants to try the local specialties accompanied by some popular Bulgarian wine.
Pamporovo has a number of nursey slopes making it perfect for beginner skiers. When you've mastered the basics there are plenty of runs higher up the mountain that are more testing. For the intermediate skier and snowboarder there are plenty of red runs that help you practice and improve your technique. The more advanced skiers will no doubt enjoy the 'The Wall' - the famous World Cup Downhill run as well as the 3,000 m long Mechi Chal ski slope near Chepelare.
Apres-Ski
Apres-ski in Pamporovo is fun and not expensive and there are a number of lively bars and clubs in the resort. While you are in Pamporovo, you really should sample the delights of the local folk restaurants that serve traditional Rhodopi specialities with some of that famous, and very tasty, local Bulgarian wine. In addition, there is always the ever popular Diploma Presentation Evening.
Nightlife
As well as being an ideal winter sports centre, there's plenty going on in Pamporovo for those who simply enjoy a winter holiday in a picturesque mountain resort. You can try ten pin bowling, swimming, pool or even clubbing. After you've worked up an appetite try dinner at a local restaurant with a floor show, traditional songs and dances.
Off the slopes activities and excursions
There is a great variety of activities & excursions available to book on the spot through your local representative. A torch lit walk through the forest listening to local folklore stories, snow tubing and an exhilarating ride on a powerful snowmobile are only a few of the options the resort has got to offer. Children aged 2-11 receive a reduction on selected activities.

There is a shopping centre in
Hotel Perelik which also has a Post Office and souvenir shops.
Medical arrangements
Mountain rescue service, ambulance and clinic (with doctor and nurse) plus first aid are available on all ski slopes. There are fully equipped hospitals in Smolyan and Plovdiv with a 24 hour pharmacy service. Please note: Some medical services must be paid for, in cash, locally. They will provide receipts to enable you to claim back from your insurance company once you get back to the UK.
