Walking
Kranjska Gora is a hikers paradise with well marked trails and paths criss-crossing the whole area, including an internationally famed 'Via Alpina' which starts in distant Monaco! Enjoy Slovenia's most renowned vistas of mighty Mt Triglav while rambling across flower-filled meadows speckled with traditional hay-racks. Experience the feeling of freedom amidst dramatic gorges, peaceful lakes and rushing rivers, shadowed by rough, jagged peaks of the majestic Julian Alps above.

- Julian Alps is a full day of spectacular mountain scenery and unspoiled, intact natural beauty.
- Take a scenic walk up from the Pisnica river, through meadows and woods then down to the Jasna lake.
- Taste of Slovenia follows the turquoise river Soca by train, boat and coach, with a visit to the
largest wine cellar in Slovenia.
- Ljubljana is one of the youngest capital cities of Europe. Enjoy the unique architecture and a scenic
funicular ride up to Ljubljana castle.
- Postojna caves is one of the world's largest and most beautiful cave systems. There will also be a visit
to the mysterious castle of Predjama which is nearby.
- Treasures of Venice, take a step back in time with a visit to Italy's most magical and romantic city.
- Lipica stud farm is the original home of the Lipizzaner white horses. There will be a sightseeing tour
of the stables, a carriage ride and a chance to see the horses perform their amazing routine display.
- Visit Bled where you will get a birds eye view of Lake Bled from Bled castle, followed by an afternoon
trip to Bohinj to discover Slovenia's largest glacial lake and to see the untouched nature of Triglav

Weather in Slovenia varies considerably depending on area, yet average July temperature remains 27C. Hot sunny days and fresh evenings with an occasional shower are a regular occurrence in the mountains. Alpine peaks covered in snow in July/August makes views even more spectacular!
