The Bulgarian Black Sea resort of Albena will unveil a brand new aquapark on July 1st 2014. Once opened the Aquapark will offer its visitors more than 600 meters of water slides and a fun, action packed children's section.
Lovka Strashilova, Deputy Sales Director of Albena AD said "The Aquapark opening will form part of the 45th anniversary celebrations of the resort and is one of a kind for the country."
The 45th anniversary of the resort will be marked with a series of celebrations throughout the summer season as well as renovations of the beach facilities, hotels and restaurants. There will be free wifi access not only in the hotels

Elenite is a small summer holiday resort, north of Sunny Beach. Only residents are allowed to enter the holiday village, which was built in 1985. Vehicles must be left outside, in the guarded car park. Residents can move between their hotel and other parts of the village by small carts.
The villas and hotels have magnificent sea views. Water sports, aquapark and a entertaining facilities await the holidaymakers who want to escape the hustle and bustle of the large resorts, however the main attracting feature is probably the flat sandy beach.

Approximately 80% of holidaymakers who visit Bulgaria approve of the country’s full smoking ban in enclosed public spaces, according to a local tourists association.
Chair of the Association of Bulgarian Tour Operators and Travel Agents, Bayko Baykov, expressed his support on Monday for continuing with the full smoking ban.
“It is not true that the turnover of establishments has decreased. What European tourists want is to have holidays in a clean environment and enjoy a clean nature,” Baykov said.
He believed that the 5% increase in holidaymakers seen during the previous winter season in Bulgaria was directly as a

Yesterday was a landmark day for the city of Varna as the new passenger terminal at Varna Airport on Bulgaria’s Black Sea coast came in to full use, 12 days after its official opening. As of 3pm, all arrivals and departures began passing through the new terminal, announced by the airport on its website.
The first serviced domestic flight was to Sofia with the national carrier "Bulgaria Air" while the first international passengers served in the new Varna Airport terminal came from Minsk with the aviation company “Belavia”. At the same time, the old terminal at Varna Airport closed after 41 years of
