With its beautiful scenery, surrounding nature, and long stretches of sandy beaches, the Bulgarian coastal town of Bourgas earned itself top award by the prestigious Swiss Travel Awards 2012 in the category "Must Visit Destination". It was also given the title "City of Sand Sculptures" for the original Sand Sculpture Festival which attracts thousands of tourists to visit the city each year. Every year thousands of people get to party during one of the hottest music festivals in Europe.
