Exciting news is coming from one of the top Bulgarian resorts Pamporovo. After the announcements for huge development a couple of years ago of the area, the resort is getting quite the attention.
A high speed quad “Two bridges” (Dvata mosta) was built during the ski season 2015/2016 that services Malina ski area in Pamporovo and provides a link to Snezhanka peak. The 4 seats lift costs approximately 3.8 million euro and is 1 km long. The capacity of the new quad is 2000 people per hour, allowing faster transportation and minimal lines at the slope base.

Pamporovo is a bright and modern ski resort located in Bulgaria, high in the Rhodope mountains, and is known as the sunniest mountain resort in Europe. Some great news arrived in the form of cranes and diggers this week in Pamporovo as construction began on a brand new lift facility due to be completed before the start of the upcoming winter season.
The new 4-seated lift was announced by the executive director of Pamporovo AD Mr. Marian Belyakov and the total cost of the project is expected to be around the 3.5m Euro mark (£3m). The resort of Pamporovo is hoping the new 1km lift will enhance the infrastructure within the resort along with the ski track measuring 1200 meters about to be prepared with an artificial snow inflow in the near future. A number of improvements will be made for the upcoming summer and winter seasons in the Bulgarian mountain resort Pamporovo.
For holidaymakers in the summer season, a new 23 km bike park will open just before the high season, where professional bikes can be rented and used on mountain paths of various levels of difficulty.
For a better winter ski holiday experience, the triple chairlift from Malina to Studenets will undergo a major overhaul which will make it faster. A new green run will be created from Snezhanka to Stoikite village. As a major attraction, Pamporovo’s main ski slope will be illuminated.
