Pamporovo is a bright and modern ski resort located in Bulgaria, high in the Rhodope mountains, and is known as the sunniest mountain resort in Europe. The latest news from this facinating ski resort is that the old ski runs have been worked on throughout the summer, where two slopes have been made wider to include the run down to Stoikite. According to the President of the Bulgarian Ski Federation, Tseko Minev, and the Bulgarian Prime Minister, Boyko Borisov, approximately 10-15,000 spectators are expected to attend the Men’s World Cup when it hits Bansko at the end of February.

If you are going on a ski holiday to Bulgaria this year and have any concerns about the weather and wonder if there will be snow then we can confirm that there will be as reports have suggested that there would be a serious snowfall just after 20th of November 2010. This means that skiing in December will be perfect for those wanting to get away for Christmas.
