Sun, Past and Future
Kyrenia, with its natural harbour, is a town in tune with the sea. There lies its beauty and charm. For years it has been fought over, but that is all in the past, these days visitors just want to enjoy all that this beautiful town has to offer.
Undoubtedly one of the most beautiful areas of Northern Cyprus. Here, while on summer holidays, you can enjoy an evening on the waterfront, either a stroll along its strand or an evening meal while enjoying breath taking views across the Mediterranean, welcome to Kyrenia.
There are bus services operating between the cities and larger villages but they don't serve all the major tourist resorts of Northern Cyprus. Buses are not run by one company, different routes are leased from the local authority so they look different in appearance, but you can tell it's a bus as the destination is placed in the front! To catch one you can wait at the bus stop or flag one down on the main road.
