Sofia Hotels Among World's Top 10 Cleanest

According to new research conducted by Hotel.info, the hotels in Bulgaria's Sofia are amongst the top 10 cleanest hotels in world capitals. The ratings were formed on the opinions of more than 6 million users of the tourist portal, who rated hotels in world capitals they have stayed in after their departure on the basis of a 0-10 points system. Guests rated the hotel on criteria such as room quality and value for money, as well as the friendliness and competence of the staff and the cleanliness of the room.

The cleanest hotels were found to be in Tokyo, while the dirtiest can be found in Kiev. Sofia rated fifth in the list, preceded by Bratislava and followed by Moscow, Lisbon, Helsinki, Bangkok and Bern. The dirtiest hotels, after Kiev, were found in Rio de Janeiro, London, Oslo, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Paris and Athens.
